What do the session fields mean?

How long the completed work lasted. Every Horse automatically describes it as Micro, Standard, or Extended.
Session type
What happened.
Primary purpose
The main reason for the session: Exposure or Consistency, Skill Development, Conditioning, or Mixed.
Physical load
Your estimate of the horse’s bodily exertion: Easy, Moderate, or Hard. It does not rate the ride or describe mental challenge.
Quick Note
One optional detail you want to remember.

Common questions

What should I record as a session?

Any completed period of work with one horse: an arena or schooling ride, trail ride, lesson or clinic, competition, groundwork, lunging, hand walking, or other work.

Are weekly targets required?

No. A weekly session target is optional and can be edited or removed. It is context, not a grade. Pausing a horse preserves all history until you resume the plan.

Where is my data stored?

Version one stores horse profiles, sessions, targets, and Quick Notes locally on your iPhone. Every Horse has no account or server copy of your records. Your normal Apple backup or Quick Start transfer may carry the data to a replacement iPhone.

How does the free trial work?

Eligible new subscribers receive seven days of full access. Unless canceled through Apple before the trial ends, Apple renews the subscription at the price and billing period shown when you subscribe.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Use Manage Subscription in Every Horse or the Subscriptions area of your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.

How do I restore a purchase?

Choose Restore Purchases on the Every Horse subscription screen while signed in to the Apple Account that made the purchase.

Can support recover deleted or missing records?

No. Version one has no Every Horse server copy. A deleted session can be restored only during the temporary in-app Undo period. Other recovery depends on an applicable Apple device backup or transfer.

Does Every Horse provide training or health advice?

No. Every Horse displays rider-recorded facts and neutral patterns. It does not provide training prescriptions, medical guidance, health advice, or veterinary interpretation.
