Every Horse is designed to help riders record and reflect on completed work with their horses. This policy explains how the version-one iPhone app handles information.
Information Every Horse handles
You may enter horse names, optional weekly session targets, Active or Paused status, completed-session details, and optional Quick Notes. Session details can include a selected calendar day, recorded minutes, session type, primary purpose, and your estimate of the horse’s physical load.
Local storage
Every Horse stores this information locally in the app’s private container on your iPhone. Version one does not create an Every Horse account and does not send horse profiles, sessions, targets, or Quick Notes to a server operated by Every Horse.
Your normal Apple device backup or device-transfer settings may include Every Horse data. Those Apple services are controlled by your Apple Account and device settings and are governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policies.
Data collection and tracking
Version one does not:
- Collect personal data through an Every Horse server
- Use advertising or advertising identifiers
- Track riders across apps or websites
- Include third-party analytics or advertising tools
- Sell rider or horse information
- Access contacts, location, photos, camera, microphone, Apple Health, or other protected device information
Subscriptions and purchases
Every Horse offers auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes payment credentials, purchase confirmation, renewal, cancellation, and refund activity under Apple’s terms and privacy policies. Every Horse does not ask for or store your payment-card information.
The app may receive Apple-provided subscription status on the device so it can determine whether paid features are available. Version one does not send horse records, Quick Notes, or payment credentials to an Every Horse server.
Quick Notes
Quick Notes are optional rider-written text. They remain part of the local session record. Every Horse does not analyze, categorize, diagnose, or interpret Quick Notes and does not treat them as medical or veterinary records.
Retention and deletion
Information remains on the device until you edit or delete it, delete the app and its data, erase the device, or restore or transfer device data through Apple services. Session deletion requires confirmation and temporarily offers Undo within the app.
Because version one has no Every Horse account or server copy, Every Horse cannot remotely retrieve, change, or delete records stored on your device.
Children
Every Horse is a general-audience equestrian utility and is not specifically directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other riders through an Every Horse server.
Changes to this policy
If Every Horse later adds iCloud synchronization, sharing, analytics, accounts, or another feature that changes how information is handled, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before that feature is released.
